Beetroot Halwa
Ingredients:
Grated beetroot 1 cup
Sugar ½ to ¾ cup
Milk ¼ cup
Ghee ¼ cup
Cardamom powder ¼ tsp
Nuts
Method:
1. Wash, peel and grate the beetroot. Cook it in cooker with milk.
2. Take the cooked beetroot in thick bottomed pan, add some ghee. Mix well.
3. Then add sugar stirring constantly in low heat, add cardamom powder and remaining ghee. Mix well.
4. Cook until the mixture becomes a non-sticky paste.
5. Decorate with nuts.
