Palak Mushroom



Ingredients:

Palak/Spinach 1 bunch
Mushroom 1 bowl
Tomato 1
Onion 1
Garlic cloves 6-7
Minced Ginger 1tsp
Green chillies 5
Oil/Butter 1-2 tsp

Method:

1. Wash and chop the Palak, Mushroom, Onions, Green chillies and Tomato. Keep aside.

2. In a vessel take some water, add chopped palak and little salt. Cook till leaves get softened. Let it cool and grind into paste (do not use more water).

3. Grind tomatoes, green chillies, ginger and garlic into fine paste.

4. Heat oil/butter in a pan, add onions and fry till brown. Add chopped mushroom and little salt. Cook for 10 minutes in medium heat.

5. Now add step 3 paste and cook for 5 minute. Finally add Palak paste and cook for 5-10 minutes in medium heat.

6. Palak mushroom is ready to serve.

Note: Same recipe is used for the preparation of palak paneer. But paneer should be added in the final step. I used mushroom instead of paneer.
