Kodubale


Ingredients:

Rice flour 1 cup
Maida(all pupose flour) 1 cup
Semolina(chiroti rava) 1 cup
Butter little
Chilli powder 1 tsp or Green chillies 3-4
Onion 1
Curry leaf 2 strand
Oil
Salt
Ghee
Lukewarm water

Method:

1. Grind onion, green chillies and curry leaf with little water into paste.

2. Lightly roast the rice flour, semolina and maida separately in ghee on a low flame till it turns light golden.

3. In a large bowl mix the roasted flour and ground paste. Add Butter and mix well.

4. Add salt and lukewarm water, knead well and make a thick dough (don't make it too soft).

5. Take a small dough and roll it like a thread by using hands and shape it as circle (or Roll it around the index finger to form equal sized circle/bangle/bale).

6. Repeat the 5 th step several time.

7. Deep fry them in oil. Fry a few rings at a time on low to medium flame, stirring occasionally.

8. After cooling store it in air tight container.
