Nippattu


Ingredients:

Rice flour 2 cups
Maida(all purpose flour) 1/4 cup
Hing 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves 2 strand chopped
Crushed groundnuts 4 tbsp
Roasted split dalia (Hurigadale) 4 tbsp
Chilli powder 2 tsp
Water
Salt
Oil

Method:

1. Dry roast groundnuts and dalia and crush them into pieces.

2. Mix well all the ingredients except water and oil.

3. Add 2 tbsp of hot oil and mix well again. Now add water little by little till you get chapati consistency.

4. Heat oil in frying pan.

5. Take lemon size dough and roll it like thick chapati of about 4-5 cm in diameter and deep fry in oil under medium heat till golden brown.

6. After cooling store it in air tight container.
