Chevda



Ingredients:

3 cups thin beaten rice
1 Teaspoon mustard seeds
1 Cup Pea nuts
1/2 Cup Split dalia (hurigadale/putani)
Curry leaves 1 strand
Red chilies 2-3
Sugar 1 tea spn
Salt 1 tea spn
1 Cup Dry coconut pieces
Turmeric 1/2 tsp
Oil 2 tsp
Peanuts, dalia, coconut can be added more or less according to taste.

Method:
1. Heat oil. Add mustard ,curry leaves and red chillies one after the other and fry.
2. Add Peanuts and fry. Add split dalia and fry.
3. Finally fry the dry coconut pieces.
4. Add turmeric powder and salt mix well. Switch off the stove.
5. Take a large vessel add beaten rice and the fried masala. Mix well.
6. Add sugar and again mix well . When it cools down store it in a air tight container.
