Haalubaayi
Ingredients:
Rice 2 cups
Grated Coconut 1 cup
Jaggery 1 cup
Cardamon Powder ½ tsp
Ghee or Butter ¼ cup
Water
Method:
1. Soak rice in a bowl for 4 hrs. Grind it with coconut and jaggery and get a thin batter.
2. Pour the batter in a thick bottomed pan and stir continuously. Pour little ghee and stir again.
3. When the batter leaves the sides of the pan, transfer it into the greased plate.
4. Allow the batter to cool and then cut it into squares. Decorate with cashew.
