Kadabu/Rice Dumplings


Ingredients:

Rice 1 cup
Water 2 cups
Salt

Method:

1. Wash the rice and allow it to dry.


2. Grind it into coarse powder (like semolina).

3. Boil the water in a vessel and add salt.

4. Add the rice flour into the boiling water, stir continuously and allow it to cook for few minutes.

5. Remove from flame and transfer it to a plate and allow it to cool.

6. Knead it well and make it into a single mass.

7. Make lemon sized balls with wet hands.

8. After making all the balls, put it in a steamer and cook it for 20 minutes.

9. Serve hot with any Sambar or Chutney.
