Akki Rotti


Ingredients:

Rice flour 2 cups
Water 2 cups
Salt
Oil

Method:

1. Add little salt to the water and bring it to boil.


2. Add entire rice flour to the boiling water and reduce the flame. Stir continuously for few minutes. Turn off the flame.

3. Transfer it to a plate and allow it to cool.

4. Knead the flour for few minutes and make it to a single mass. Dough should be very soft.

5. Make lemon size
 balls with wet hands.

6. Take two separate thick polythene sheets of chapati size (little larger). Apply oil on one side of each sheet and keep the balls in-between and roll it with rolling pin (or you can use rotti machine).

7. Take the rotti from the sheet with wet hand and put it on hot tava. Cook both the sides.
8. Serve hot with any chutney, palya or sabzi.
