Chicken Sukka (simple and easy method)



Ingredients:

Chicken pieces 1 bowl
Onions chopped 1 cup
Grated coconut ¼ - ½ cup
Minced ginger ½ tsp
Minced garlic 1 tsp
Green chillies 2-3
Red chillies(dried)2-3
Chilli powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
Cumin powder ¼ tsp
Pepper powder ½ tsp
Lemon ½
Cloves 2
Cinnamon 1” stick
Salt
Oil

Method:

1. Wash and cut the chicken into pieces. Marinate it with chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, salt and lemon juice for overnight
or for 3-4 hrs.


2. Heat oil in a pan add cloves, cinnamon, green chillies and red chillies. Fry them.

3. Add ginger and garlic fry. Add onions and fry till golden.

4. Now add marinated chicken, mix well and cover the lid. Let it cook for 10 minutes in low-medium heat.

5. Add grated coconut, pepper powder and salt(if required) mix well. Cover the lid and cook for another 10-15 minutes in low-medium heat till it becomes dry.
