Coconut Burfi



Ingredients:

Grated coconut 2 cups
Sugar 1-2 cups
Water ½-1 cup
Cardamom powder 1 tsp
Ghee

Method:

1. Take water and sugar in a thick bottomed pan and let the sugar to melt in medium heat.

2. Cook till the sugar syrup gets sticky consistency (to know the consistency, add a drop of sugar syrup into a cup of water, it forms a jelly like ball ). Now add coconut and stir continuously.

3. Add some ghee and cardamom powder mix well and stir until it becomes thick and sticky in medium heat.

4. Pour it into greased plate and just roll the rolling pin over it. Cut it into pieces. Let it cool.

5. Store it in an air tight container.
