Asparagus Palya



Ingredients:

Asparagus shoot 1 bunch
Onion (chopped) 1
Green chillies 4-5
Minced Garlic 4 cloves
Lemon juice 4-5 tsp
Grated coconut 2-3 tsp
Curry leaves 1 strand
Mustard ¼ tsp
Salt
Oil

Method:

1. Wash and cut the asparagus shoots into small pieces. Keep aside.

2. Heat oil in a pan add mustard and when it splutter add green chillies, curry leaves, garlic and onion one by one. Cook them for few minutes.

3. Add asparagus, lemon juice and salt. Cover it and cook for 10 minutes in medium heat.

4. Add coconut and mix well. Cover it and cook for 5-10 minutes.

5. This recipe goes well with chapati, rotti and rice.
