Cabbage Palya



Ingredients:

Cabbage finely chopped 2-3 cups
Onion chopped 1 cup
Dry Red chillies/ Green chillies 4-5
Soaked and cooked chana ½ cup
Chana dal 1 tsp
Urad dal 1 tsp
Grated coconut ¼ cup
Mustard
Curry leaves 1 strand
Chilli powder 1tsp(optional)
Salt
Oil

Method:

1. Heat oil in a pan add mustard after that add urad dal and chana dal,
fry them.

2. Add green chillies or dry red chillies and curry leaves. Fry them.

3. Add onions fry them. Add cooked chana, chopped cabbage and
salt, mix well. Cover the lid and cook for 10 minutes in medium heat.
(Don’t add water)

4. Add grated coconut and chilli powder(if you want), again
cook for 5-10 minutes. Remove from heat.
