Drumstick Leaves Chutney



Ingredients:

Drumstick leaves(Nugge soppu) 1 cup
Chana dal 1/4 cup
Urad dal 1/4 cup
Grated coconut 1/4 cup
Green chilies 4
Tamarind grape size
Asafoetida pinch
Salt
Oil


Method:

1. Heat a tsp of oil in a pan, fry chana dal, urad dal, asafoetida, green chilies and grated coconut. Switch off the stove and trasfer it to a bowl. Let it cool down.

2. Heat a tsp of oil in same pan and fry drumstick leaves until the leaves shrinks. Let it cool down.

3. Grind all the roasted ingredients, drumstick leaves, salt and tamarind along with little water into smooth paste.

4. Drumstick leaves chutney is ready to serve. It goes well with dosa, idli and rice.
