Bacchida Meenu/Fish Curry
Fish Canadian smelt 1 bowl (or any fish like Salmon, Tilapia etc)
Coriander powder 2tsp
Chilli powder 2 tsp
Pepper powder 1tsp
Adduli or Tamarind paste 1/2tsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Garlic 6-7 cloves
Ginger small piece
Oma/Ajwain/Carom seeds 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Coconut oil 2tsp
1.Clean the Fish and marinate with salt and turmeric.
2.Dry roast coriander powder,chilli powder and pepper powder in low flame till it becomes dark color.
3.Make a thin paste of coriander powder,chilli powder,pepper powder,tamarind paste, garlic, ginger, carom seeds along with water.
3.Add the paste into a pan, let it boil and add marinated fish.
4.Once the fish is cooked and water is completely dried up add coconut oil and remove it from the flame.
5.If you prefer some gravy you can add some more water and do not cook till dry.
(salt ,chillipowder and tamarind should be added perfectly to get a good taste)
