Chicken Curry with Spinach


Ingredients:

1/2 kg Chicken (boneless, skinless)
1/2-1 bunch Spinach chopped
2 Tomatoes chopped
Oil –2 tsp
1 Black Cardamom
Cinnamon 1” stick
2 Green Cardamom
1 Bay Leaf
4 Cloves
1 large Onions finely chopped
2 tsp Crushed Ginger
2 tsp Crushed Garlic
5 Green Chilies chopped
Salt
2 tsp Red Chili Powder
1/4 tsp GaramMasala
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp Cumin Powder
1 tsp Coriander Powder
1 tsp Curry leaf Powder
1/2 tsp pepper powder
2 tsp lemon juice

Method:

1. Marinate the chicken by adding

2. Heat oil in a medium flame. Add Bay leaves, Cloves, Cinnamon and the Cardamoms.(can add 4-5 pepper corn also).

3. Add green chillies, fry them and add onions and cook till it turns golden.Add the Ginger, Garlic and fry them.

4.Add tomatoes and slat mix it well and cover. Let it cook for sometime.(till the oil separates from the mixture). The mixture will reduce in amount.

5. Add the Chicken mix well. Now add curry leaf powder, garam masala powder, cumin powder and give it a good stir and cover.

6. Cook the Chicken for about 10 min or more. Add spinach mix it again and cover. Cook for another 10 min.

7. Add lemon juice and pepper powder.
