Shankarapole


Ingredients:

Ghee – ½ cup
Sugar – ¾
Milk – 1 cup
Salt – 1tsp
Maida 3-4 cups or little more

Method:

1. Mix ghee, sugar and milk in a pan and heat it till the sugar melts and the mixture starts boiling. As soon as the mixture starts boiling, t
urn off the heat.

2. Let the mixture cool down.

3. Mix maida in above mixture and keep adding it till you get a nice, stiff dough. The consistency of the dough should be such that you should be able to roll it. [not too thin, not too stiff.]

4. Divide the dough into equal parts and roll it like a chapati. But should be thicker than chapati.

5. Cut with knife into small squares.

6. Deep
fry them in oil in medium flame till light brown.

After cooling store it in air tight container.
