Badam Burfi/Badam Pak


Ingredients:

1 Cup badam(Almond)
1 Cup besan (gram flour)
1 Cup milk or 3/4 cup water
2 Cups sugar
1 Cup ghee
Cardamom powder
Cashew pieces

Method:

1. Soak badam in water or milk for 3hrs. Remove the outer skin.

2. Grind badam into fine paste with milk.

3. Mix badam paste, besan, ghee and sugar. Pour the batter in a thick bottomed pan.

4. Keep it on stove, keep on stirring and add little ghee in the middle. Finally add cardamom powder.

5. When the batter leaves the sides of the pan, transfer it into the greased plate. Cut into any shape you like. Decorate with cashew pieces.
