Butter Cookies


Ingredients:

1 cup maida flour(all purpose flour)
1/4 tsp baking soda or 1/4 tsp baking powder
Salt
Butter (more)
1/2 cup powdered sugar
Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp (optional)

Method:

1. Mix maida, baking soda/baking powder, salt, sugar powder, cardamom powder in a large bowl.

2. Add warm melted butter little at a time and knead the dough into a nice soft ball.

3. Keep the dough for a couple of hrs (1-2 hrs) or you can keep it in the fridge for 5-10 mins.

4. Preheat the baking oven to 350F.

5. Make small round balls from the dough and flatten on top, don't press too hard. Place them on baking sheet.

6. Bake them for 15 min (Observe in the middle) till SLIGHTLY golden.

7. Let it cool before eating.

Note: Do not add water for this recipe.
