Tomatillo Gojju



Ingredients:

Tomatillo medium size 8-10
Onion 1
Minced garlic 1 tsp
Chilli powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
Grated coconut ¼ cup
Mustard ¼ tsp
Oil
Salt

Method:

1. Remove the outer calyx of Tomatillos, wash and chop.
2. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds when it splutters add garlic and chopped onion. Fry them till transparent.
3. Add chopped tomatillos and little salt. Cover the lid and cook for 5 -10 mins in medium heat.
4. Add chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder. Mix well.
5. Add grated coconut and cook for another 5 minutes in low to medium heat.
6. Tomatillo gojju is ready to serve. It goes well with everything (dose, chapati, rice, rotti, kadabu etc)
