Tandoori Chicken



Ingredients:

Chicken drumstick 10-15 pieces
Ginger paste 2-3 tsp
Garlic paste 2-3 tsp
Chilli powder 2 tsp
Coriander powder 1-2 tsp
Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
Paprika 1-2 tsp
Tandoori chicken masala 2-3 tsp
Yogurt ¼ - ½ cup
Lemon juice ½ cup
Butter 2 tsp
Red food color very little (less than ¼ tsp)
Salt

Method:

1. Wash and with the help of a knife make some slits about few
inch on chicken drumstick. Marinate with lemon juice and salt.
Keep aside.


2. In a bowl add red chilli powder, tandoori chicken masala, coriander powder, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, paprika, yogurt, red color, lemon juice and mix well. Soak the chicken or apply this masala to chicken [I Put all the chicken pieces and remaining masala in a large ziplock bag]  and refrigerate for 5-6 hrs or overnight.

3. Preheat the oven to 350F for 5 min. Place the marinated chicken
on foil covered backing tray and put it in oven and bake it for 30 min
on one side and remove the tray, turn the chicken pieces and bake for 15 min.

4. Now broil it for ONLY 3 min in 450F on one side and 3 min on the
other side. [this step is optional]

5. Switch off the oven and remove the tray apply melted butter on chicken. Yummy tandoori chicken is ready to serve.
