Aloo/Potato Bhaji



Ingredients:

Potato 2-3
Onion 1
Tomato 1
Green chillies 4-5
Garlic 3 pods
Grated coconut 2 tsp
Cilantro (chopped) ½ cup
Lemon juice 2-3 tsp
Asafoetide pinch
Mustard ¼ tsp
Cumin ¼ tsp
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Water
Salt
Oil

Method:

1. Pressure cook the potatoes and mash it. Keep aside.2. Chop tomatoes, onion, garlic and cilantro.3. Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan, add mustard let it splutter, add cumin
and asafoetida.
4. Add green chillies sauté. Add garlic and onion, fry them till transparent.
5. Add tomato and little salt. Add ¼ cup of water. Cover the lid
and cook for few
minutes.6. Add mashed potatoes, turmeric, grated coconut and salt. Mix well.7. Finally add cilantro and lemon juice. Cook for 1-2 minutes and
switch off the
stove.8. Serve Aloo bhaji with dosa.
